Implemented SVM, Naïve Bayes, and Discriminant Bayesian algorithms in MATLAB to convert an image of a character into machine readable format, and displayed the obtained character on the screen.

Implemented five models using DEVSJAVA to demonstrate how much delay is present between the time when a pharmacist describes a drug to a patient and the time the drug reaches the patient.

Collected tweets for four companies, namely – Google, Apple, Microsoft and Twitter to analyze the sentiments on their products. Training was done on four classes – positive, negative, neutral and irrelevant using features like usernames, hashtags and URLs. Created a bag of words which was used for classification. Used two classifiers – SVN and Naïve Bayes in MATLAB.

Used the Fabricio dataset for spam detection. Extracted features like keywords, number of usernames, number of hashtags, length of the tweet, etc. Created a web interface for spam detection in Java where classification was done using LibSVM.

Identified variables for success in districts with high productivity. Replicated them for areas of low productivity and analyzed the results. The database was analyzed using Weka and Microsoft Excel.

Collected car images for training and testing. Developed code for localization of the number plate in the image of a car in C# using Emgu CV. Developed code for training and testing of printed characters for the license plate recognition in MATLAB. Used three classifiers, namely – SVN, Template Matching and Bayesian. Developed a new technique of fusion which combined SVN and Template Matching.

Analyzed the security standards of existing payment schemes like Paypal by checking them against the existing phishing sites to know the difference. Performed threat modeling on the system. Analyzed different protocols and crypto systems used by the sites. Implemented various encryption algorithms including RSA, AES and RC4 in Java. Developed a simple chrome extension to detect if the URL can be a phishing URL.

Created tables in a location database which contained the locations and permissions for a person in MySQL. Developed code for query management for users in Java. Developed a simple message service in Java which can be used to accept an incoming request message from a user and sends out a message with the location. Made an android application for the same purpose.

Wrote a script to read movie information from various websites from the internet. Created a database containing that information in MySQL. Developed code in python for insertion, update and deletion of database entries. Analyzed the database through Entity Relationship (ER) diagrams.

Created a web browser in Java using the URL connection. It included the basic functionalities like opening a URL and multiple tabs.

Implemented Naive Bayes and KNN algorithm in Python. Used the database containing 20 classes of news articles.

Implemented the RSA encryption algorithm in C. This program took the public and private key from the users and successfully encrypted and decrypted the message.
